Water provision in south Galkacyo IDPs under SHF project
FOO is providing safe and clean water to 834 households (5004beneficieries) who were affected by drought and floods in four IDP camps and one rural area in south Galkayo District
Distribution of 24 sanitation tool kits
FOO has distributed 24 sanitation tool kits comprising wheelbarrows, rake, shovel, mattock and conducted 3 solid waste management campaigns that benefited 4500 beneficiaries in Galkacyo IDPs the 60 mothers participated each month and was motivated each month
Construction of latrines in south Galkacyo IDPs funded by SHF and implemented by FOO
FOO is carrying out the construction of 50 VIP and 10 disabilities Friendly latrines in Galkacyo IDP camps which is vital for promoting public health by safely managing human waste which helps prevent the spread of diseases
Borehole Rehabilitation in Galkacyo Founded by SHF and implemented by FOO
FOO with support of SHF completed the construction of 50m3 eleveted water tank in arafat borehole in Galkacyo district to increase the capacity of water storage to enable newly displaced households in Galkacyo IDPs to receive sustainable water source and systems extensions
